What is laser hair removal?

Laser hair removal is a safe, fast, and effective semi-permanent treatment to reduce or remove unwanted body hair. 

What type of machine is used?

Here at The Doctor's In, we use the InMode Triton to achieve your ultimate silky-smooth skin goals! This laser is equipped with two different diodes, each specifically designed for light and dark skin tones. 

Who is eligible for this treatment?

Using the most advanced technology available on the market, we are able to treat patients with a wide range of skin types. Certain hair types are more effectively treated than others. Consult with your technician for more information. 

How many treatments will I need?

Although the number varies between individuals, most patients need a total of five to six treatments every 4-6 weeks to reach the desired result. Consistency is key with this type of aesthetic treatment! We strongly encourage patients to schedule their next appointment prior to leaving to help ensure the best results.

Several steps must be taken prior to the procedure in order to ensure a safe, effective treatment. 

  • NO tanning (including fake self-tanner) 3-4 weeks prior to treatment 

  • Use minimum SPF 30 sunblock DAILY

  • Avoid blood thinning medications or anti-inflammatories for 24 hours prior to treatment, unless previously instructed by other provider

  • Shave area within 24 hours of treatment - do not use any other methods of hair removal before or between sessions, including tweezing/waxing, epilators, or depilatory creams (i.e. Nair)
