Our Practice

What started in 2003 as a small, single-provider practice has blossomed over the years into the well-established, bustling office it is today. Founded by Dr. David Werwath, The Doctor's In is a privately owned clinic at the beautiful Virginia Beach Oceanfront that functions as both an urgent and primary care provider. With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Werwath is a highly knowledgable, caring physician who has gained a steady following over the years.

Daily walk in appointments are available for urgent care issues, however, scheduled appointments are preferred. We pride ourselves on our personal approach to patient care, dedicating as much time as necessary to each case. As we are privately owned, we do not have the pressure of meeting productivity quotas, unlike many corporate clinics. Although we accept all insurances, not all carriers accept us. We also work with patients to provide affordable care for the self-insured. If your insurance is out of network, we are happy to see you for the self-insured rate.
